A graduate of UNC-Charlotte, Paul holds B.S. and M.S. degrees and has worked in home construction since 1981. As an unlimited licensed contractor and licensed real estate broker, he is knowledgeable in all aspects of home building. As co-owner of Cyras Homes, Raj Kumar's extensive 30 year experience as a builder has afforded he and his company the opportunity to have built a number of beautiful custom homes in some of Charlotte's finest subdivisions, to include Highgate, Ballantyne Country Club, Myers Park, Sanctuary, Springfield and Stillwater.

Raj Kumar adds to his credit an Masters Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Minnesota. As an engineer he has worked on several high profile commercial projects. These projects include "The World Trade Center", "Kennedy Art Center" and "The Museum of Science and Technology" in Washington D.C. With this watchful eye as an engineer and the talent as a custom builder, ensures that the structural quality of the homes they build is above standard in every area of construction.

Raj attributes part of the success of his company in the custom home building industry to the high quality of construction materials, such as doors, windows and appliances, as well as adorning their home with high quality upgrades, such as beautiful trim throughout the home, granite countertops, custom cabinetry, beautifully sanded and finished hardwood flooring and tile to coordinate the finishing touches.
